I am mainly a self-taught photographer.   I fell in love with photography in the early 70's when I took a photography course at a local university while on summer vacation one year.   I really kicked it up a notch at Saint Paul's Baptist Church in Richmond, VA by starting the photography ministry in 1992.   The ministry has really grown to quite a few photographers, and now I have a very busy and thriving phography business called Photos By Imani.   I believe there is always something to learn about photography and I am always eager to see what's new and how to do what I do...more
